Resting in Peace

Earlier this week I was able to take a walking tour through one of the oldest cemeteries in the area. For me, cemeteries are very peaceful and quiet places that I enjoy being in. I was lucky enough to snap these pictures.

  2. Awesome pictures. I love visiting the cemetary that my grandparents are in. I could and have sat there for hours. It really brings me peace.

  6. That's too bad that there isn't many there! Where I live now there is many more then any other place I've lived. I'm not sure why, but we really have respect for our dead in these cemeteries.

  7. I LOVE cemeteries so much, too, especially old ones! There's always such a sense of peace there, and I actually used to escape to this really old, beautiful one when I was upset or needed to think. GREAT pictures!

  8. Exactly Jennie.

When we lived in Rexburg, we found the old Sugar City Cemetery by mistake one afternoon and I would drive 20 minutes out of the way if I was feeling upset. They can be so peaceful.
